BMC CTS Western Covered Wagons - Brown Pioneer Horse Cart 24pc Playset

From the BMC Toys CLASSIC TOY SOLDIERS COLLECTOR SERIES, the PIONEER COVERED WAGONS 24 piece set includes 2 wagons, 8 horses, and lots of accessories. The brown wagons feature opening tailgates, smooth rolling metal axles and front wheels that swivel. Two off-white top covers are removable and one has side rolled open. Brown color wagon accessories include 2 each buckets, wash tubs, lanterns, hanging barrels, hanging boxes, and driver seats. Horses include 2 each off-white, tan, gray and black colors. Wagons measure 4.7 inches long x 2.95 inches wide without accessories installed, 3.9 inches tall with tops installed, and are up to 12.1 inches long when hitched to a 4 horse team. Tops and horses are made from fairly stiff HDPE plastic and wagons are made from soft plastic. All pieces are approximately 1:32 scale with lots of detail and very little flashing.These wagons were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company around 2001 and are designed to be compatible with Louis Marx & Company Western themed playsets of the 1950s and 1960s including the Western Ranch, Wagon Train, and Fort Apache boxed sets. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make these miniatures available to today's youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic realistic style of the 1950s and 1960s.Instructions: With adult supervision, dip any bent part in hot water, then cold water to straighten. Assembly of horses in hitches requires some hand strength, so adult assembly is recommended. These accessories are a perfect addition for any western playset and American history school project dioramas. Packaged in clear bag with header card and recommended for ages 5 and up.
